A few words about
What We Do
Our projects
Pilgrim Feast is faith based organization but we offer programs for all community members regardless of race, sexual orientation and religion. PFT has designed programs that inspire the youth to fulfil their potential, and vastly improve the quality of life for seniors.
Weekly Food Bank and food drives ensuring that our community members are provided with good nutrition. We offer after school programs for low income families and help newcomers to settle.
The organization also delivered food to seniors and other community members who were unable to come down to the Etobicoke office to pick up food. We were able to achieve this through our mobile food banks, and deliveries.
REFUGEES
On July 30th, 2023, 60 refugees showed up at the doors of Pilgrim Feast Tabernacles seeking for refuge. Thus, The Church open their doors and housed them by providing them with accommodation. Immediately, the Church ordered beds, and bedding supplies such as duvet covers, pillows and sheets. The church exercised their role as a humanitarian by feeding and accommodating 140 black refugees from diverse African countries who were left on the streets of Toronto to cater for themselves because the city's shelters were filled to capacity. Consequently, the Church is seeking for financial aid from individuals, organizations, businesses and governmental bodies to assist them in offsetting the costs associated with providing three daily nutritious meals to the asylum seekers.
